BMA Law has strengthened its legal team with the appointment of a specialist healthcare lawyer to help with the increased demand from doctors for legal support in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.
The firm welcomes Sana Sadiq, who joins as a Senior Solicitor, having previously worked for a leading specialist healthcare firm in London. Sana brings more than five years’ experience of helping primary healthcare businesses, including GP practices and dental care providers, break through the complexities of corporate and commercial law to find cost effective solutions to otherwise tricky situations affecting their businesses.
Sana’s previous experience involves advising clients on a range of matters including acquisitions, management buyouts, key commercial contracts, service level agreements, partnership agreements and the variety of issues effecting the day to day operation of primary healthcare providers, whether they are trading as sole trader, partnerships, LLPs or limited companies.
Sana will play a key role in strengthening BMA Law’s corporate and commercial law offering. Commenting on her appointment, Sana said “I am delighted to join BMA Law and I look forward to supporting doctors with the legal needs of their businesses during these extraordinary times, so that they can in turn, focus on saving lives and protecting the NHS from the frontline, safe in the knowledge that their legal affairs are being taken care of”.
