Regulatory Lawyer & Solicitor – Advocate
Errol is a regulatory lawyer and expert in healthcare law. Since qualifying with a large City law firm in 1996, he has successfully acted for businesses, individuals, regulators and central government departments.
He draws on his extensive experience to persuasively engage with the CQC and professional disciplinary bodies on behalf of BMA members. Errol supports clients in responding to all types of CQC investigations and prosecutions, including Notices of Proposal, Notices of Decision and Warning Notices, as well as related ICB enforcement.
As a Solicitor-Advocate, Errol has conducted advocacy at tribunals, coroners’ courts and professional disciplinary hearings. He has also brought numerous successful challenges against regulatory and public bodies through the High Court process of judicial review.
